A Bethesda Ministry "FUN"-Raiser,
because the soul is not disabled.

Featuring a performance by David Kim, Concertmaster of the Philadelphia Orchestra.

"A Taste of Heaven" is a FUN-Raising Event to support the Bethesda Ministry. You are invited to attend virtually or in person!

In heaven, no one will have a disability!

At A Taste of Heaven, disabilities disappear and your imagination expands beyond what is seen.

What is Bethesda?

Bethesda is a ministry that is helping the church:

... make room for, enjoy teaching, and learn from people with special needs.

... expand their imagination to see those with special needs as a cherished part of their Body.

... see Jesus and then see those with special needs as Jesus does, with delight.

Bethesda has created fun Bible study material and also offers training and support for the situations or scenarios that make leaders nervous. Bethesda tries to help leaders share their love for Jesus with people with special needs in their church and community.

Meet Jill Miller
Adaptive Curriculum Writer

Adaptive Curriculum Writer Jill Miller has a passion to expand the horizons of individuals with disabilities. After her daughter Kim was born with multiple disabilities, Jill employed her training as an educator—including a BA in Elementary and Special Education and a Master’s equivalency as a Reading Specialist—to design teaching tools to effectively convey the gospel message to Kim and her friends. From her labor of love, the Bethesda series was born.

Through the years, Jill has started two businesses aimed at employing individuals affected by disability. At a fundamental level, Jill believes that individuals with disabilities can thrive, learn God's Word, and know his amazing love for them. Jill is a mother of six, wife of Paul Miller, grandmother of many, and lives with Kim and Paul (not to mention two dogs, two sweet donkeys, and a few goats) on farm property in rural Pennsylvania.

Join the entire Bethesda team to get a glimpse of what an unrehearsed Bethesda Bible study looks like! This in itself will be very exciting!

This evening of FUN will be at Family Worship Center, 1000 Troxel Road, Lansdale, PA 19446, and will be broadcast live. You must register for this event by May 1, 2021.

Note: Please be aware that this is a fundraiser for Bethesda. There will be an appeal for those who are ready to support, but there is no expectation that everyone will give. As much as anything, we want people to come and learn about what God is doing through Bethesda and get to know others with special needs as our brothers and sisters in Christ.

COVID note: There will be no mask or social distancing requirements at this event. However, please use your best judgment concerning your health and personal safety, if attending in person. If you are sick, please stay home and join us virtually.
