The seeJesus Conference is first and foremost an encounter with Jesus. You will learn to see Him as a person as you do interactive Bible study together.

What Will Happen At The Conference?

The Person of Jesus interactive Bible study will be the means for discovering afresh the wonder of Jesus. The study’s energetic, interactive format presents questions that lead participants to discover answers from the Bible for themselves.

The five units of The Person of Jesus study (Compassion, Honesty, Dependence, Faith, and Sacrifice) unfold, step-by-step, a journey of love, of becoming like Jesus. You'll find yourself captured by the beauty of Jesus and hungering to know him better.

You'll see Jesus display the full range of emotion-all perfectly. He models good sadness as he grapples with loss. He shows us what good anger and good irritation look like. Jesus also demonstrates good boundaries as he says "no", even to his own mother.

At these unique conferences, you’ll be an involved learner, just like you would be in a good small group or Bible study. We will do virtually NO lecturing. You’ll first experience interactive Bible study as a participant and then as a leader. The result? You’ll be equipped to train new small group leaders and energize tired ones.

Tools for Reaching a Post-Modern World

Love Walked Among Us and The Person of Jesus study are both written for a Christian world that has not seriously studied the person of Jesus AND for a post-modern world that has little church background.

The Person of Jesus study is written to include non-Christians. It assumes no background in the Bible and offers a non-threatening way to share the gospel. Many have used it for seeker Bible studies. A leader of a women's Bible study in North Carolina said:

PrayerLife

PrayerLife is our newest small group study.

Many of us are quietly defeated in our private prayer lives. We’ve tried praying, but it just doesn’t seem to work. So we feel a combination of frustration and guilt. In this study, you will learn step-by-step how to begin a private life of prayer in fellowship with our heavenly Father. This study is not for victorious Christians, but Christians who often find themselves defeated in the trenches. It deals with such practical questions as…

• “How do you stay focused when you are distracted with so much to do?”
• “How do you pray longer than five minutes?”
• “How do you pray when your own life is messed up?”
• “How do you ask when you’ve tried it before and it doesn’t work?”

You'll discover the joy of an intimate prayer life. One participant said, "Prayer is becoming an every day, every hour, every minute, and every moment experience."

Who Can Attend?
Pastors, small group leaders, Sunday school teachers, youth pastors, and spouses are all welcome. In fact, anyone is welcome who is active in leading Bible studies or desires to learn how to lead.
