- The Person of Jesus—led
by Paul Miller
The Person of Jesus interactive Bible study will be the means
for discovering afresh the wonder of Jesus. The five units of The
Person of Jesus study unfold a journey of love. You’ll get
hands-on training in leading inductive Bible studies, along with learning
how to use The Person of Jesus study with seekers. This study
is written for a post-modern world that has lost touch with Christianity.
- Small Group Leader Training—led
by seeJesus Trainers
Each group is led by an experienced seeJesus Trainer. Each participant
prepares and teaches a lesson from The Person of Jesus manual
to their group. Following the lesson the participant gets feedback from
the seeJesus Trainer. Open only to alumni of The Person of Jesus
track.
I thoroughly enjoyed the seeJesus Small Group Leader Training. The
training format gave us the experience of leading a group while being
in a group. This was much more effective than a lecture alone. There
really is no other way to learn how to lead a small group. You have
to experience it. It was some of the best small group training I have

- PrayerLife—led
by Bob Allums, a PrayerLife Trainer
You will learn step-by-step how to begin a private life of prayer in
fellowship with our heavenly Father and discover the joy that an intimate
prayer life brings. One participant said, “Prayer is becoming an
every day, every hour, every minute, and every moment experience.”
- This conference is sponsored by the Southern Nevada Baptist Association
(SNBA).
- Pastors, small group leaders, Sunday School teachers, spouses, or
anyone desiring spiritual renewal is encouraged to attend.
- If you are flying into McCarran International Airport (Las Vegas Airport),
you will need a rental car. The hotel is 10 miles from the airport and
1.5 miles from the First Baptist Church where the conference is being
held.
