Lynette is married to Brandon and home schools two of their three children in Princeton, N.J. She has been active in the home-education community for seven years, including co-founding home school co-ops in two communities, and planning/coordinating complex field trips for home school groups. Lynette's home school program incorporates foreign travel, music, athletics, and community activities.

Lynette's prior experience has included work with a Philadelphia-based design firm and the founding of a successful restaurant in Cape May, N.J.

Lynette has been active in numerous church ministries. She was formerly a deacon at Westerly Road Church in Princeton, where she founded the women's ministries program, and is also the founder and manager of the church's book table ministry.

She received her B.A. in literature from Wheaton College in 1985.
