Paul Miller, Executive Director

After graduating from Temple University, Paul taught at inner city Christian schools in Philadelphia for ten years. For the first three years he taught middle school in an all-black school. Then, with a group of parents, he started Spruce Hill Christian School (K-8), an inner city, multi-racial school. For seven years he was principal and teacher.
In 1983 he began working with his father, Dr. Jack Miller, on what became World Harvest Mission. World Harvest has teams serving in nine countries. He was Associate Director of the mission from its beginning in 1983 until 1996. He was responsible for operations, field expansion, and renewal ministries. From 1997 to 1999 he completed a Master of Divinity at Biblical Theological Seminary.
During his time as Associate Director Paul wrote several discipling courses. From 1985-88 he designed and wrote a course on grace called Sonship, which is popular in the Presbyterian Church of America. In 1989, he wrote Discipling by Grace, a companion course to Sonship. Both of these manuals have since been updated and re-written for World Harvest. These two manuals and their tapes have a worldwide distribution. In the early 90s Paul also wrote The Love Course, a course that studies the personality of Jesus as a way of learning to love. It is the precursor to the Person of Jesus course.
Paul is married to Jill, who is known for her sense of humor and faith. They have six children and nine grandchildren. Their oldest daughters, Courtney and Ashley, are busy young mothers. More recently their two sons, John and Andrew, married. Their fourth child, Kim, is disabled. Their youngest, Emily, is studying nursing.
Bob Allums, Director of A Praying Life Ministries
Bob Allums has been with seeJesus since the very beginning. Though he has been in pastoral ministry for 14 years in times past and has served Christian publishing companies such as InterVarsity Press and Crossway Books & Bibles, his greatest love is teaching the seminars; especially A Praying Life. He has been regularly teaching the seminar both in the USA and internationally for over eleven years. In fact, he enjoys it so much, he is now the Director of A Praying Life Ministries for seeJesus. Bob and his wife, Helen, have three grown children and live in the Chicago, Illinois area.
Steve Byrd, Director of Partner Relations

After receiving his Master of Divinity from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and completing a pastoral internship, Steve began his career as a development officer with United Way. He then moved into a 22-year business development role serving clients nationwide in tele-communications and marketing services. He joined the ministry of seeJesus in July 2010, overseeing Partner Relations and serving as a Trainer. Steve loves hanging out with his wife, daughters, sons-in-law and five grandchildren. He is honored to serve the local body of Christ as a Ruling Elder at West End Presbyterian Church in Richmond, VA. He enjoys movies, travel, reading, painting and anything having to do with being above, on or under the water. However, Steve is most passionate about glorifying Jesus by helping people discover their identites, freedom and calling offered alone through the gospel.
Julie Courtney, Director of Women’s Ministries
After leading a Person of Jesus Study with neighbors, Julie began to work part-time for seeJesus from her home in Northern Virginia. In 2004, she moved to the Philadelphia area, and began full-time work with the ministry: teaching, doing public relations, coordinating seminars and conferences, and training small group leaders. In her role as Director of Women’s Ministries, Julie trains small group leaders, mentors women, leads women's retreats and encourages women as they grow in their understanding of who Jesus is. Julie has a degree from The Ohio State University in Family Relations and Child Development and is a huge Buckeye fan! Prior to working for seeJesus, Julie served as Administrative Assistant for an EPC church in Reston, VA and worked as a travel agent for twelve years before that.

He develops partnerships with mission agencies and churches worldwide where Person of Jesus training ministries can expand. Prior to working at seeJesus, Richard served as Pastor and Missionary in a variety of ministries, from New Hampshire to Argentina. He has been married 32 years to his wife Ellen.
